Claire’s is expanding its partnership with the country’s biggest retailer.

The tween and teen jewelry and accessories brand is bringing its assortment to more than 1,200 additional Walmart locations. With the rollout, Claire's products are now available in more than 2,500 Walmart stores and in more than 360 Claire's store-in-stores at Walmart locations, as well as the discounter’s website.

Claire’s, whose partnership with Walmart began in 2018, now sells its products through more than 30 retail partners in North America and Europe. In addition to  Walmart, its partners include CVS, Amazon, Hudson's Bay, DSW, Asda, Tesco and more. Claire's, which owns, merchandises and manages the inventory located in partners’ stores, said it experienced 70% growth in its consumer products partnerships business in 2021.

“With these new locations, we're excited to build on the success we have seen with our partnership and our own expanding consumer products business to reach more customers where they live and shop," said Ryan Vero, CEO of Claire's, which has more than 2,600 company-owned stores across North America.

Claire's was recognized last year as Walmart's top vendor for jewelry and accessories. The brand’s assortment at Walmart includes jewelry, hair accessories, water bottles, diaries, bags and styles to help craft Halloween costumes. In addition, select Walmart locations will also offer Claire's signature ear piercing experience.

“Walmart is continuing to establish itself as a fashion destination with a focus on expanding our assortment of quality, on-trend and accessible apparel and accessories," said Michelle Gill, VP, jewelry and accessories, Walmart. "This includes creating innovative shopping experiences like the Claire's stores within Walmart that enable customers to find more of their favorite brands and shop with confidence."

In December, Claire’s appointed Kristin Patrick as CMO.
