J. Crew and J. Crew Men’s will operate side-by-side in a new space in Paramus, N.J.
Both brands will vacate their current spots at Bergen Town Center and team up in a 6,247-sq. ft. space located across from the Nike Factory Store in the city’s largest open-air and enclosed mall center.
The center’s owner-operator Urban Edge Properties also announced the signing of four new tenants:
Journeys—a teen specialty brand with an emphasis on trendy and affordable footwear, apparel, and accessories—will occupy 1,978 sq. ft.
The full-service veterinary clinic Bond Vet has committed to a 3,207-sq.-ft. space where it will offer urgent and routine care, , surgeries, and dental cleanings.
Perfumania, a provider of fragrances and related gifts and accessories for men, women and children will join Bergen T.C. in a 1,277-sq.-ft. store.
And one of the fastest growing dessert concepts in the country, Crumbl Cookies, will open a 2,138-sq.-ft. shop selling a weekly rotating menu filled with cookies inspired by popular desserts such as carrot cake and double fudge brownies.
“These new additions validate our belief that BTC is the best-in-class retail destination in northern New Jersey,” said Urban Edge COO Jeff Mooallem. “Positioned in between two of the busiest Whole Foods and Target stores in the state, our new retailers will provide fresh concepts and in-demand products for our loyal customers and new visitors.”
Target, Nordstrom Rack, Lowe’s, and Kohl’s are among other key tenants at Bergen Town Center, which draws 11 million visitors a year, according to Urban Edge.
