Lilly Pulitzer, Vera Bradley make online gift giving easier, more personal

Two specialty retailers are hoping to get more customers on board with e-gifting.



Lily Pulitzer and Vera Bradley have joined Loop Commerce’s e-gifting service and platform, GiftNow.



The service enables consumers to purchase a specific gift and have it digitally delivered to the recipient in real-time. Once delivered, the recipient can select a size and color, or exchange the gift before it is actually shipped. Other retailers using the platform include Coach, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s and Neman Marcus.

Since launching in January, 2016, Loop has tripled its network of retail clients using GiftNow and also added a number of enhancements, including enabling consumers to use coupons and occasion-themed gift notes, enhanced fraud and risk mitigation, and integrating Apple Pay. Recent channel implementations include corporate gifting, promotions and events, social gifting, and loyalty programs.
