Oregon-based Portland Leather Goods, which sells handmade leather bags, purses, leather journals, backpacks, and other items with hides sourced from the U.S. beef industry via direct-to-consumer and third-party retail channels, leverages software-enabled inventory management and logistics capabilities from Cart.com.
During the recent peak holiday season, Portland Leather Goods handled more than 300,000 orders and shipped more than 500,000 bags utilizing hosted services from Cart.com. The retailer experienced 77% year-over-year growth during the fourth quarter of 2023.
Cart.com bases its fulfillment solution on proprietary software and predictive analytics designed to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs and provide real-time inventory visibility. The company provides physical and digital infrastructure to support omnichannel commerce, including a suite of digitally-driven logistics capabilities, enterprise channel and order management software, and expert services.
