Stitch Fix is helping customers with holiday style.

Stitch Fix is providing personalized assistance with consumers' holiday styling questions.

In an email to Chain Store Age, the online personal shopping and styling service announced its new Holiday Party Hotline. Through Friday, Dec. 15, customers can call or text the hotline to have styling queries answered and receive personalized tips directly from a Stitch Fix stylist.

Once customers have contacted the hotline, they will receive a text message confirming receipt of their question. From there, a Stitch Fix stylist will provide a personalized response via text within 24 business hours.

In addition, Stitch Fix is providing customers who contact the hotline free $100 credit to use for their next purchase. The company is also letting customers send direct messages and receive styling tips via Instagram. For those who submit inquiries via Instagram, Stitch Fix will provide a select number of people with complimentary purchases.

Stitch Fix is also introducing “SOS Holiday Party Fixes” with expedited shipping. Customers can include in their Fix request notes that they need an “SOS Holiday Party Fix,” and the company will fast track their shipment for upcoming holiday events.

As part of the promotion, Stitch Fix is partnering with social media style influencer Allison Bornstein to engage its audience on its owned social media channels by offering her tips to the most common holiday dressing-related questions

Stitch Fix is launching its omnichannel holiday style offering following the June 2023 appointment of former Macy’s Inc. chief customer and digital officer Matt Baer as CEO and member of the board.

While at Macy’s, Baer launched or scaled a number of tech-focused initiatives, including a a third-party marketplace, Macy's Media Network, the modern redesign of the retailer’s web site and mobile app, and the Macy’s Live livestream shopping platform. He was responsible for the growth and strategic long-term vision of Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s digital businesses.

Prior to Macy’s, Baer was VP, eCommerce at Walmart, where he helped lead the transformation and scaling of Walmart's digital business. Before joining Walmart, his experience included founding a digital marketplace.

Founded in 2011, Stitch Fix serves around 3.5 million clients and ships thousands of personalized items of apparel every day. The company went public in 2017.
