Walmart Business is opening an omnichannel holiday hub.

Walmart is helping small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and non-profits celebrate the holdiays with their employees and clients.

The discounter’s Walmart Business program, originally launched as an e-commerce site with an assortment of more than 100,000 products curated for organizational shoppers in January 2023, is opening an omnichannel Holiday Party Shop and a digital employee gift finder tool.  

The Holiday Party Shop features items such as food and drinks, decorations, and tableware. Customers can place orders online with curbside pickup, as well as same-day delivery in some locations. For in-store customers, Walmart has added Walmart Pay as a shared payment method in the Walmart Business app.

Meanwhile, the employee gift finder tool offers a variety of holiday gift items across categories such as candy, technology and fitness to match different tastes and budgets, The gift finder tool also provides access to gift cards.

To promote its new holiday offering, Walmart Business is teaming up with TikTok influencer Corporate Natalie.

“After putting in the work for a full calendar year, I think we owe it to our teams to have a little end-of-year celebration,” Corporate Natalie in a Walmart Business blog post. “Who doesn’t like devouring a charcuterie board and getting a little competitive with games?”

Walmart Business expands offerings

Walmart Business has been unveiling new products and services since its initial launch. Other examples include:

  • Walmart Business app: This app features the Walmart Business product range, including office furniture and supplies, breakroom provisions, technology, and classroom items, with flexible options for receiving orders. These include one-tap check-in for curbside pick-up at more than 4,700 U.S. locations, as well as direct-to-office delivery scheduling. Businesses can gain access to their multi-user accounts, with up to five employees sharing one account directly from the app.
  • Easier add-to-carts: A streamlined ordering process is designed to make it easier and faster for customers to enter and order large quantities by typing the exact number needed in the quantity field.     
  • Angi partnership: Walmart Business is now working with professional services platform Angi to connect Walmart Business customers with local professionals to book services such as office furniture assembly and wall mounting and shelving installation.
  • Spend analytics: Walmart Business+ members can track their organizational spending with a spend analytics tool offering data such as spend by user, top categories, and items. The solution also identifies spending patterns.

The retailer has been expanding its third-party Walmart Marketplace selection to provide SMBs and nonprofits with access to millions of available items on both the main Walmart e-commerce site and Marketplace.
