Build A Bear is enhancing its in-store shopping environment.
Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. is focusing on the end-to-end store experience.
The experiential retailer, which is pursuing an ongoing, multi-year digital transformation strategy, is running Jumpmind CX Connect interactive customer displays on iPad devices. This enables Build-A-Bear store associates to provide one-to-one personalized customer engagement, and complements Build-A-Bear’s implementation of the Jumpmind Commerce cloud-native, mobile-first POS solution.
The company has completed its Jumpmind rollout in Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., and will roll out Jumpmind POS and customer experience technology to stores in additional geographies during 2024.
"Our Bear Builder store associates are a vital part of the Build-A-Bear Workshop experience," said Dara Meath, CTO at Build-A-Bear. "Our commitment to providing our associates with the most advanced in-store retail technology ensures they are not only given a 360-degree view of our customers, their previous interactions and preferences, but also can offer a shared interactive and personalized journey to enrich each customer’s visit. As we continue to evolve as a retail experience location for our customers, our in-store retail technology transformation ensures we continue to create unique and memorable experiences that foster emotional connections with the Build-A-Bear brand."
"We extend a warm welcome to Build-A-Bear in joining the Jumpmind family of progressive retailers that are leveraging their store environments for competitive differentiation and bringing the best of digital retailing together with brick-and-mortar,” said Joe Corbin, president and CEO of Jumpmind. "Bear builders are now empowered to deliver seamless and valued-added experiences that are as unique and special as the Build-A-Bear brand, from the moment guests walk into the store until the time they walk out with their new furry friend and a smile."
