Janie and Jack is implementing a new omnichannel POS solution.
A specialty children’s fashion brand is connecting stores with its e-commerce operation.
Janie and Jack is deploying the PredictSpring Modern POS solution into 106 of its stores across the U.S. The omnichannel platform is designed to unify the online and in-store shopping experience and enable Janie and Jack store associates to manage inventory, consult with customers, and complete transactions more quickly.
A microservices-based API architecture integrates with the retailer’s CRM platform and other back-end systems.
In 18 weeks, Janie and Jack deployed PredictSpring Modern POS and went live in 106 stores, obtaining the following capabilities:
- Omnichannel capabilities seamlessly unifying in-store and online shopping.
- Clienteling features providing associates with complete customer information, helping associates deliver one-to-one customer service.
- Real-time order and inventory management and improvements to real-time reports.
- Remote payment options for ship-from-store orders.
“Janie and Jack is a design house with every kid at its heart, and we are thrilled to continue meeting the needs of our customers through the integration of PredictSpring's Modern POS system,” said Mo Beig, executive VP and CFO at Janie and Jack. “The transition from our legacy POS system to PredictSpring’s Modern POS has revolutionized our ability to provide highly personalized, fast, and seamless omnichannel journeys to our valued customers.”
“We are excited to bring our Modern POS solution to Janie and Jack stores to help its store associates meet the rapidly evolving demands of the modern consumer,” said Nitin Mangtani, founder and CEO of PredictSpring. “It has been rewarding to support Janie and Jack’s complex integration needs in such record time, a testament to our powerful APIs and true omnichannel capabilities.”
“This move from a legacy application to a cloud-based omnichannel-focused solution is an important step in our overall digital transformation within our premium children’s brand and part of the Go Global Retail growth playbook,” said Jeff Streader, managing partner of Janie and Jack owner Go Global Retail.
Montreal-based home furnishings and décor retailer Bouclair also recently began integrating the PredictSpring Modern POS solution into all of its 54 stores across Canada. Bouclair leverages the platform for clienteling; as well as to support omnichannel activities at the store, such as endless aisle, buy online return in-store (BORIS), buy online pickup in-store (BOPIS), and buy online fulfill in-store (BOFIS).
In addition, the retailer can support real-time inventory visibility across all channels, inventory receiving, cycle counting, store transfers, and inventory adjustments with its new POS system. Bouclair can also conduct store operations in both English and French using PredictSpring technology, in order to meet Canadian regulatory requirements.
