Kroger is improving product listings on Kroger Marketplace.

The Kroger Co. is applying artificial intelligence (AI) to dynamic pricing and market analytics solutions on its seller marketplace.

The grocery giant is deploying AI-based technology, including a content management system (CMS) and generative AI copy optimization, to improve the ranking criteria of modern search engine results pages (SERPs) and enhance visibility and clarity across product detail pages (PDPs) for sellers on the Kroger Marketplace.

Launched in 2020, Kroger Marketplace offers customers of the Kroger Ship ship-to-home program an extended aisle with more than 50,000 additional products. The additional products are made available through marketplace partners via Mirakl, a software platform enabling B2C and B2B digital marketplaces. As a result, Kroger offers the type of extended digital marketplace offered by Amazon and Walmart

Kroger launched Kroger Ship in August 2018. The service delivers private-label and center-aisle groceries, household essentials and bulk merchandise through third-party carriers.

Kroger Marketplace will work with Intelligence Node in an effort to provide clearer, more informative product listings to improve the customer experience, as well as provide better insights into product performance for sellers.
